Maruti Suzuki SPLASH

Suzuki Splash is considered as the up coming version of Wagon R, last seen in the auto expo Splash is all set to hit the Indian roads shortly.
So, Maruti is looking aggressive towards competition and is doing every possible effort to prevent sales loss. Splash from front looks a bit like elder bro Swift, it is no doubt equally stylish as well.

Splash's rear end is very innovative though, atleast for Indian market. The Interiors are quite similar to the swift & and it has good amount of space as well.

Talking about Engine & Power Splash would be on sale with a choice of three engines; a three-cylinder 1.0-litre (65 BHP), a 1.2-litre four-cylinder (86 BHP) and a 1.3-litre DDiS turbo-diesel (75 BHP).

The more likely specifications would include anti-lock braking system (ABS) and electronic brake-force distribution system (EBD) as standard on all models, while the highly debated and desirable Electronic stability program (ESP) and six airbags (dual front airbags, dual seat-side airbags, dual curtain airbags) will be available on the higher grades or as options. But we need to wait for the variants that Suzuki plans to launch with these features, keeping in mind the price factor.

More of Splash coming soon

All New Toyota Corolla

SO, boring corolla finally got a face lift from Toyota motors and yeah it is'nt looking that boring now.
First Corolla was launched in India by Toyota in 2003 and since then the same model showed up without any major changes.
Honda Civic's popularity must've been the cause of corolla's face lift, the new corolla look is although inspired by Camry, yet looks impressing.
Now it's time to talk about it's interior's and engine.New corolla is far more stable on road if compared to old corolla, it maintains it's grip even on high speeds, interiors are cool but did'nt looked much changed other than the electric steering which feels numb 'coz it kills every feeling of road. It's seat is bit high than that of Civic and so corolla gets a point there. While sitting inside the car its relaxing to know that outer world's noise had been reduced to very low, quite & calm driving pleasure is again giving Corolla a feeling of a bigger car.

Developing 124bhp, this new motor could provide Toyota an opportunity to bridge the gap between the Honda City VTEC and the Civic. It won’t be slow either — Toyota claims a 0-100kph time of 10.4 seconds and a top speed of 195kph, and that’s plenty.

So, Overall Corolla is now sexier, cooler, more stable BUT same time it did'nt managed to overcome it's BORING image completely, although it suceeded a lot, but Corolla still misses the Vibe, and it still misses the Spark that Civic has.

More coming Soon.....

Till then..take care and...

Yamaha YZF R15 reviews and images

Yeah great so finally yamaha came up with something good...
My friend bought this bike recently and so i got a chance to have my hands on this monster. It's looks are pretty sexy and sharp just like elder bro YZF R1 ,Comfort level is'nt that high but not bad also after all, it's all sporty theme would'nt let you feel driving a commuter anymore.
Handling does feel slight weak in traffic if compared to commuters, the handle struggles with fairing but on a free or less dense road you'll surely feel like a racer. So, it's cool that india is getting racy .(hope the roads understand)

Now coming to it's looks it seems that it's a carbon copy of R1 but indeed with many visible changes the bike being sporty lacks height and so obesity attacked dudes may not enjoy the ride much and may get a back ache as return gift, adding in style and performance is the presence of monoshocker which are essential for any racing bike, till now only Unicorn showed up with this.

Yamaha YZF R15 Specifications
Main Features
1. A newly developed 150cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, single-cylinder fuel-injected engine
2. An all-aluminum "DiASil Cylinder" produced by an exclusive Yamaha casting technology
3. Eco-friendly performance that clears the next-phase Bharat 4 emissions standard
4. The "Deltabox frame" known for excellent rigidity balance
5. Impressive "2-eye" multi-reflector headlight design in the YZF-R seriesConfirmed

Specifications-

♦Fully Faired
♦Rear Disc Brake
♦150cc
♦Liquid Cooling
♦Delta Box Frame
♦Forged aluminum pistons
♦6 Hole type Fuel Injector
♦High capacity air cleaner/filter
♦Yamaha accessories including riding gear- 6 speed transmission
(Specs as shown in Yamaha Site)

♦Tyre Front: 80/90 - 17 inch tubeless
♦Tyre Rear: 100/80 - 17 inch tubeless
♦Brakes: Front- Disc, Rear- Disc
♦Fuel Tank: 12 Litres
♦Wheelbase: 1290 mm
♦Min Ground Clearance: 160 mm

Now that was some cool facts and advantages of this hunky bike but like always it has it's drawbacks.

Company claims a mileage of about 45 to 50 kmpl...???///??

WHAT ???

Let's see again BHP above 17 and cubic capacity = 150
...still a 45 kmpl mileage is more than one can lie about, and if somehow it managed to do so then it wont be a racing stuff anymore.( you won't be driving at 30 kmph in 6th gear ....!!..will you ?? )

Moreover despite of it's stunning looks there is one thing that pinches is it's ugly back, the 17 inch slick tyre looks like JUGAAD in this techno crap, my friend is planning to go for a broader tyre 'coz this one is embarrasing.

Also the cheap looking alloys make's the tyres look silly.

Lastly at over one lakh INR it is TOO costly.(rs .1,06,000 approx.)

Here is a pic showing the difference between the legendry R1 and the evolutionary R15.

At last if u want this for pure looks then i'll recommend to just wait for honda's STUNNER 125 keep an eye on forth coming posts about YZF R15 and Stunner + many more.....

Keep chekin 4 more.......
